Good Morning!!!!
The first official day of spring break, we won't count Good Friday, that is sort of a buffer day to the REAL Spring Break...
I want to let everyone know that I have kept up with my walking!!! I am starting my third official week of training, and I am feeling strong. I walked 15 miles the first week, 13 miles last week, (I even walked on Easter) and I am scheduled to walk 15 miles this week. I have had my first blister, well, several at once...but I feel good.
Anna, my team co-captain and I made a decision the other day to change our team name...we are now officially THE RACK PACK, there will soon be six women on our team, and Bosom Buddies 4 didn't work anymore. All the credit for the clever new name goes to my DH Mike!!!!! Way to go honey!
Well, today is my "day off" from training, and I am going to celebrate the first day of break with my good friends Anna, Gina and all of the kids. We are going to IHOP to have Horton Hears a Who Cakes, and then off to see the movie. Fun!!

Just after my last post my treadmill broke, would not restart...I thought maybe it just needed some time to cool down, but it would not restart. Now I am back to square one until the weather breaks. Or so I thought.

This week was the beginning of our 24 week training program. I love any training program that starts out with a day of rest. Today we needed to walk three miles and my good friend Brian had a treadmill just collecting dust at his house. Yeah !!!!!!!!! Brian. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for the loan of the treadmill. Sooo, today i was able to walk my three miles without strapping a shovel to my tennies.
